Spacious double and family sized rooms make it possible to accommodate parties of up to ten. Accommodation is arranged with two very large en-suite rooms plus one double en-suite room in the main house.
In the guest house Pigeonnier there is one double and one twin room.
All rooms are serviced daily and complimentary bottled water, toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits are replenished as required. Books to help you relax and books to help you plan your visit are left in all bedrooms and in the ground floor sitting room. If you need more just ask - we will be pleased to find you something to read.
A cot, night lights and baby alarm are available at no extra cost.
The Blue Room is often used by honeymoon couples and has an antique four poster bed curtained in blue Toile de Jouy. The bed linens are white and crisply starched. perfumed with lavender and closest to your skin is an exquisite antique linen dowry sheet. Towels and complimentary toiletries are supplied in the large en-suite bathroom which has both a full sized bathtub and a walk in shower. If you are traveling with your family then the blue room is large enough to comfortably accommodate two single beds in addition to the master bed.
The Indian Room is furnished with much loved family antique furniture. An antique four poster bed originally from India, English Edwardian dressing table and a French armoire made locally in the late 1800’s rub shoulders in this mellow and relaxing room. The bed is supremely comfortable, cool white linens delicately scented and starched pillowcases against your cheek ensure a luxurious nights rest. The extra large en-suite bathroom has both a full sized bathtub and a walk in shower and towels are supplied along with complimentary toiletries. Two single beds can be comfortably accommodated in the Indian room in addition to the master bed.
The Green Room is a small double room furnished with an antique French metal bed, and furniture carefully chosen to reflect the character of the room. The en-suite shower room has a huge shower and views over the extensive gardens at the rear of Le Manoir.
There is a comfortable and elegantly appointed drawing room on the ground floor where guests may meet before breakfast or chat over a glass of something intoxicating or soothing before bed. Books and maps are again available to assist in planning your trips to the Battlefields or Landing Beaches.
Breakfast for which Le Manoir is justly famed is served in the sunny dining room and is luxuriously continental, seasonal fruits, fresh orange juice, a selection of cheeses and continental meats with free range eggs (often from our own hens). Yoghurt, bread, brioche, cinnamon buns and scones are cooked daily in the Manoir kitchen and are served with home made preserves. Cereal is served with walnuts, honey and freshly prepared compote. Coffee is ground and made to your requirements and there is a wide range of teas including herbal and decaffeinated
For arrivals on the evening ferry it is possible to organise a supper by prior arrangement.
